“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2, NKJV).

What is Christian conciliation?

A decades-old-yet-still-emerging movement of relational conflict resolution that blends disciplines of biblical counseling, alternative dispute resolution, education, and consulting, all centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a uniquely powerful experience that helps individuals, couples, families, schools, churches, and organizations find relational peace by developing skills to become peacemakers.

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV)

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV)

Why Christian conciliation?

James 4:1 tells us plainly where conflict comes from: “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you” (NIV)? Christian conciliation brings hurting people in contact with their own heart issues so they can learn to navigate the turmoil of conflict and reconcile within themselves and then be able to reconcile with others.

“‘Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift’” (Matthew 5:23-24, NIV).

“‘Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift’” (Matthew 5:23-24, NIV).

When Christian conciliation?

Conflict brings opportunity to grow spiritually and emotionally with God, within oneself, and with one another. However, if conflict results in unresolved anger, resentment, bitterness, anxiety, or depression in a relationship where communication is difficult, Christian conciliation offers a safe, encouraging process by which real breakthrough in relational healing is possible.
